Growing Herb

Thursday, 23 July 2009

Seems like my window-sill herb garden is doing well. I have Lemon Thyme, Rosemary, African Basil, Oregano and Lavender. Yesterday I added a small Spearmint plant (great for iced tea and Mojitos) but didn't photograph it.

This morning I also checked my tomato plant and it seems like over night I have a half dozen little yellow blooms. Hopefully they'll turn into red Roma tomatoes. I do adore summer. Are you growing anything this year?

Bet your Grandmother is proud of your herb growing ability.

Teri - yes I want to see yours too! Don't worry - last year all of mine died. Somehow have the knack this year. Anon - yep. She's happy I have a somewhat greenish brown thumb.

Lovely pictures. It looks like a job well-done. I was meaning to plant some herbs, but between getting ready to go back to college, moving, and whatever else, this year was no go.

I learned part of my green fingers from you, hubs. Remember the bonzais and our herbs out back?
