Dannen The Graduate

Wednesday, 16 December 2009

There's Dannen's name - he's legit.  This is a close-up on the Ohio State University winter graduation program.  He received a B.S. from the Max Fisher business college in Finance.  We're proud.  Mom even spend 30 minutes ironing Dannen's graduation robe 'cause that's how we roll.

I walked down to the floor to get a shot of him in his seat. Dannen is center screen, a bit to the right.  That is his "I'm tolerating you for a few more moments smile."

The proud graduate with the family.  Even my grandmother was in town to celebrate the achievement.

I asked that we take this cheesy photo - Dannen and I with our bachelor's degree.

Oh, an OSU graduate. We kind of like those around here. Kudos.

Not that I am one. I am the Florida girl reject that the grown up OSU girls sometimes like to exclude from their conversations. But I am okay with that. Because I secretly think I am cooler than they are.

Kidding. Sort of.

It's a feeling that only "Grad Parents" can describe - and it shows! Congrats all round!

Why aren't you wearing any "O" attire for everyone in Ohio to see?

Congrats to Dannen! You both have such unique amazing names!
In my humble opinion I think earning a degree is a huge accomplishment that not only will help you careerwise but it shapes you as a person, how you view the world and the "official" grown up you will become.
From my first day as a Uni freshman @ 18 to graduation day at 23, I was a completely different person.

OMG just noticed dad is holding out a beer in the background to Dannen trying to be funny. It was only about 12 noon... But if you know anything about OSU...that's kinda normal. Lol.
