First, pick a container. The magazine has an adorable photo of a basket filled with a small plant arrangement and tiny chairs and potted plants. (Sorry the photo isn't featured on the magazine's website but I found the cute one below.) Add soil, select plants such as herbs, accessorize and let your imagination explore the garden.

This sounds like a great idea. I love the tiny patio scene. How do you keep them alive with no sunshine streaming in the windows?
Nice..but I would want to grow teenie-tiny tomatoes and itty-bitty carrots.
Tina Lane - I think you have to select plants that do not need much sunlight but place the garden near a window.
JJ - Love that kind of garden. Eenie little heads of lettuce too!
Oh this is so adorable..just up my street. I WANT one ..maybe two !! with 'mustard seed' size daisies..Ah cute.
